Deodorants and Antiperspirants are used to prevent foul odor and decrease sweat. Deodorants and Antiperspirants can be used on several parts of the body wherever excessive perspiration is a problem; however, they are most commonly used in the underarms area.
Deodorants and Antiperspirants come in many forms. The most common include roll-on forms of solids or gel, aerosol sprays, and creams.
Difference between Antiperspirants and Deodorants:
Antiperspirants: work by clogging, closing, or blocking the pores with powerful astringents so they cannot release perspiration
Deodorants: work by neutralizing the smell of the perspiration mixed with bacteria on our body (by antiseptic action against those bacteria). Deodorants are considered more healthful because they don’t interfere with perspiration, a natural cooling process.
